Why is madden taking out my starters.

I appreciate the tips/comments. I tried those things but it didn't really change. I'm playing as the Commanders. After one defensive snap with all of my starters intact, the next play Chase Youg, Jonathan Allen, and Montez Sweat are all subbed out with my starting LOLB as LE, my backup ROLB as RE, and backup DT as DT. Why not just manage your practice reps? I go into about week 7 with full pads, all starters. Then I go half-pads and change back and forth between starters, backups, or split depending on their stamina levels. Every starting receiver is dead after 1 play. Turned off auto subs and they just stay in dead tired so they may as well be trash backups at that point. Madden is ruined by these assholes. Starters disappear. Anyone else have the problem with starting players disappearing from the roster in game in franchise mode?
