Check firing pin protrusion, and make sure you've pulled your bolt apart and cleaned it properly. Remington loved filling those bolt bodies with schmoo. Schmoo + dust = thick molasses.Far as accuracy goes, when you go below supersonic speeds down to subsonic, the bullet get knocked about a bit, kind of like an airplane flying through turbulence. This will throw off accuracy. the lack of using energy to cycle the bolt coupled with a bit longer barrel gives the bolt guns an edge.
