Jalama Beach is a BEACH and you can take a nice 10 mile walk (pay attention to the tides) to the lighthouse. Yes the lighthouse is on private property. We don’t want tourists vandalizing historical property. The few people complaining about the cost of parking must not ever go to county or state beaches where you have to pay to park.
