A 49" ultra-wide has a width of 120 cm, height of only 34 cm, and an area of 4,037 cm². A 39" 16:9 has a width of 86 cm, height of 49, and a superior area, 4,193 cm². This will allow you to see more above and below you than the letterboxed screen will. This may be important in a game utilising all three dimensions, as we expect from Starfield. Honestly, playing Starfield just made me want to replay Cyberpunk, so that's what I did after refunding it.
