Jeep jk running hot.

My 2007 Jeep JK with 204,000 miles won't start when hot. Cold starting is fine. After the Jeep runs to full temperature, is turned off and then sits for 30 minutes, it will crank but will not start. Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside. Also drained and refilled the system completely.

If, as you said, it was only the drivers side, then replacing the core didn't do a thing and the issue will likely return. There is one heater core.2. Filled the radiator with the coolant along with the resevoir. 3. Turned on the vehicle and left the radiator cap open then let it run for a few mins, 4. Drove it around the neighbourhood. The JK is still over heating. Coolant is Genuine Mopar Coolant, also. It is NOT consuming any coolant at all, it has not gone down since the last flush. There is coolant pressurizing the hoses and in the radiator. The heater works fine. However, temps are still reaching 240.
