If I play songs from my phone on the in the usb port the "Aux Input Device" will still interrupt the songs. One options I saw was to disable the "auto-detection of a AUX cable" function ...I have not seen reports of auto stop failure to restart on gen9 cars when the car has no other serious symptoms.
