The nice thing with Storm Brand is that its activation frequency (.5s) is the same as Lightning Conduit's cast time, which allows every cast of lightning conduit to hit a shocked target. Main point of lightning conduit is its short cast time (0.5s). You would be wasting it with a trigger setup. Another point is that you want them to be shocked BEFORE casting/triggering the conduit. But the spell would be cast before they are chocked (travel time of the arrow), so your spell would only be cast on your 2nd attack.

Yea Lightning Conduit is getting a lot of attention but Galvanic Field is also looking low-key solid considering that it's passive damage with a 6 sec base duration. Looks good for anyone who wants to play something similar to the Cremation or Seismic Trap playstyle. It might even make Archmage playable again.
