There are additional problems like excessive vibrating of the outboard engine and the sudden collapsing of the engine. It is a waste of money and time to solve these problems.

The thing pulled a 14' fiberglass skiff with two onboard at a good clip, (I'd guess about 18 mph or so with two big guys onboard).
