It seems like the cartridge type suspensions (AXEO, Progressive, possibly Ohlins) are all somewhat stiffer than a system that uses the dampener with modified holes and/or emulator (Race Tech, Pro Action, progressive). With different valving and spring's the showa's performance can be the same or if not better then the stock Ducati ohlins. The difference is really adjustability of the system and the bling factor. Individual shops may elect to adjust the valving on the Ohlins but that is not a factory option. The Wilbers shock is built to order and so the valving can be adjusted during the factory assembly of the shock.
