I did psych, gen surg and OB COMAT. psych : 82%. gen surg : 84%. OB: 89%. COMLEX 2: 466 after a whopping 9 weeks of prep. Thus, it does not correlate. I think if you used the qbanks regularly, you would be more ready for the boards than looking at the comat scores. COMAT exams were, very easy compared to the boards.Any idea how difficult it is? I know it’s supposed to be just like the Combank IM practice questions but I don’t want to waste those yet because I was planning on using them the last week before the comat. The COMAT is a joke compared to Uworld in terms of question difficulty. The only thing that makes it hard is the vague and poorly worded questions and bizarre topics they’ll test you on. I think I had like 5 rheum questions and had to guess on 3-4 of them.

Used COMQUEST for everything except the OMM shelf and surgery (surgery was my first rotation and I didn't know I needed a qbank and I hate OMM), and those two were the only scores below 100 for me. I felt like it had a good spread of systems like you mentioned but it tended to be more outpatient management oriented. FM comat is easier. Lots of guideline based questions like what age to do colonoscopy and stuff. FM was a bit easier and it was more outpatient based.

My IM COMAT had no OMM with regards to the questions it was asking. However, it did give me some BS OMM findings just to artificially lengthen the question stems in an attempt to crunch me for time lol.

Comquest comat series is just another shitty question bank. My plan is to run through the Comquest Qs like a week before the shelf exam, just to get used to their vagueness.
