The belt and auger still turn as if I have the lever pressed. The fingers are in the right spot (any closer and it would touch), and the idler pulley is as far back as it goes.Craftsman's 22/5 hp Tecumseh bogs when auger engages. I recently picked up this from a neighbor for free. He took good care of it and it starts up/runs beautifully. When I engage the auger you can hear the rpms drop significantly and it causes the snow to be thrown less than 10 feet.
