At a gun show yesterday, a dealer who sold me an IMBEl parts kit for $135 said that I would need to replace the selector switch (which goes from safety - semi - auto) with another version that does not allow it to swing down to the 'A' on the receiver.THERE IS NO ONE BEST SCOPE FOR ANY FAL. We can make our best choices, but there really is a big choice, and one that will have many answers. If you want to shoot paper, or if you want to shoot military targets will make a great variance. Surplus military kits built on upper receivers of good quality are the next best route to go for a great FAL. Parts kits can still be found for $500-$700 and up depending on make and quality. If the bolt goes fully into battery, try a larger pin gage. If the bolt wont go into battery, try a smaller pin gage.

This 380 used a metal mag. and is not as wide as the M10 guns. RPB created the M11/9 which is is the narrow 380 frame but longer top. Some Entreprise receivers (note Entreprise... not "Enterprise"), have had issues with the location of the ejector block. This ejector-block location issue has caused mags to sit too low, resulting in bolt-over-base malfunctions. Other than this issue, I am unaware of any other significant issues regarding function.
