Wouldn't start, the engine just turned over, tried to start a couple of times, coughed spluttered then nothing, just turned over..... Check all fuses associated as best I could, no blown fuses, not sure if the relays were all functioning. I disconnected the negative terminals on the battery, left to reset and reconnected, still nothing.

It drives just fine, no issues with acceleration etc. Keep in mind, that if the battery has gone dead, been unhooked, replaced, etc. some of the codes may have cleared. Start with the ignition key at the off position. Rotate it from off to run (not start) 3 time within 5 seconds. you'll end up leaving it in run. Any stored codes will display on the odometer readout.

I'd recommend tackling a problem at a time. The starter problem is probably the most important and probably deserves its own thread. Start with the suggestions I made about the connections. Simply try the ideal starting procedure (<5 seconds crank), pull a spark plug and check for fuel. If the plug is wet then you have fuel but either no spark or no compression.
