Yes No. 07-14-2014 06:30 PM. I realize this is an old thread, but I have just joined the greatly disappointed HP customers experiencing this operational problem with the M1217, and sick to my stomach at HP's response. I bought this printer less than one year ago, almost 11 months ago now.

First, printer screen is blue with hp logo. Then it briefly turns purple while the green ready light and orange exclamation point flash. Next it says Initializing while the two lights continue to flash. Then the Ready screen appears briefly then it says printing and sounds like it is printing but no paper comes out.
